Tom Moffit

President

Thomas Moffit, Jr., better known as “Tom” is the faithful leader and President of WOAY and her sister stations, WRJZ Joy 620, WETR Talk Radio 92.3, and WKTS the Bridge 90.1. His vision is to share sound 24/7 Biblical teaching on our teaching stations WOAY 860 and WRJZ Joy 620, good moral values and Christian perspective on global issues on WETR Talk Radio 92.3, and uplifting and encouraging Christian music all day long on WKTS The Bridge.

 

Favorite Verse: “The LORD is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust him.” (Nahum 1:7)

Dr. Pat Polis

General Manager | Director of CRC | Show Host

Rev. Dr. Pat Polis is the Director of the Christian Resource Center (CRC) Located at the Tennessee Media Center and the General Manager of both WETR Talk Radio and our sister station, WRJZ, where he also serves as a show host for two separate programs. Dr. Polis is a former Army Officer with three combat tours. He also has experience as a plant manager, and corporate CEO. After completing his Doctorate in Divinity, Dr. Polis served the greater Knoxville Area as a Senior Pastor for 28 years. He’s a certified church consultant, specializing in church revitalization, and a certified John Maxwell team member. In addition, Dr. Polis authored an online course titled Reclaiming The Church.

 

Tune in each Monday and Thursday on our sister station, WRJZ, to hear Dr. Polis host both The Ministry Corner, and The Church Mechanic.

Phil Arlinghaus

Operations Manager | Executive Producer

Phil Arlinghaus is a native of Seymour, Tennessee. He graduated from Seymour High School in 2010, and Johnson University in 2018. Phil’s specialty is using his technical talents to serve the Kingdom of God. He has experience with churches across America as a Production and Media manager. His experience also extends to radio from his days at WTHU, in Maryland, and Salem WAVA, in Virginia.

 

 

Phil started with the Foothills Media Center in 2015, before moving to Washington D.C. to assist with a church plant. When he returned to Tennessee, he once again joined the staff as our Operations Manager and the Executive Producer of The Bob Bell Show and Crossroads with Jenny Bushkell on our sister station, WRJZ.

 

 

Favorite Verse: “God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.” (Ephesians 1:5)

Tonya Stoutt-Brown

Creative Director | On-Air Promotions

Tonya Stoutt-Brown is an award-winning broadcast journalist and radio host, an East Tennessee native and a graduate of the University of Tennessee. She is also well known for her performances as a local actor and social media content creator. One of Tonya’s first jobs in college was working as a weekend DJ on WRJZ, one of our sister stations, so she’s excited to be able to come full circle and join the WOAY AM 860 team to help listeners “Grow in the faith!”


At the age of 9, Tonya walked down the aisle at a small church in Blount County, repenting of her sins and committing her life to Christ. Many lessons, adventures, mistakes and blessings later, she says she still believes it was the best decision she ever made. Tonya is married with two grown daughters and is actively involved in ministry today. She especially enjoys sharing the love of Christ with students and young adults.

Cindy Arnold

Traffic Administrator

With over 25 years of experience in the dynamic world of radio broadcasting, Cindy Arnold has been a pillar in the industry. She brings not only her expertise, but her love and passion as well. Alongside her illustrious radio career, she has ventured into the realm of real estate, utilizing her keen insights and customer-centric approach to help clients find their perfect homes.

 

Beyond her professional endeavors, Cindy is deeply engaged in her community, having served on the Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame Board for many years, where she continues to contribute to the recognition and preservation of radio history. Additionally, she plays a vital role in her church as the Women’s Ministry Leader, fostering a nurturing environment for spiritual growth and empowerment.

 

While her professional and community commitments keep her busy, Cindy finds her greatest joy in spending quality time with her beloved family, cherishing each moment and creating lasting memories together. With her multifaceted experiences and unwavering dedication, Cindy exemplifies the essence of leadership, service, and compassion in all aspects of her life.

Jenny Bushkell

Show Host | Producer | Account Executive

Jenny Buskell has been with Tennessee Media Associates as a Christian radio host for more than eighteen years. She hosts “Crossroads With Jenny Bushkell” on our sister station, WRJZ, and is also the host of the award winning podcast of the same name.

 

A humorous speaker and Bible teacher, Jenny is passionate about her faith. She encourages others to find confidence in their identity in Jesus, and God’s plan and purpose for their lives. Jenny earned a BS in Logistics from the University of Tennessee which she used to build a successful sales career. From there, God called her to radio ministry. Apart from radio ministry, Jenny has spent more than twenty years primarily serving with recovery, women’s, and children’s ministries. Jenny and her husband (Larry) have also served on lay ministry teams, and in international mission capacities. Along with travel, she enjoys writing and photography.

Dave Clabo

Senior Producer

Dave took Radio Broadcasting at Fulton High School during his Junior and Senior year. He would get his first shot at radio in 1986, only 5 months after graduation. His first opportunity would be at WBZW, located in Powell, TN. After that, Dave would move on to WQBB (which was owned and operated by Jim Staley). Dave assisted in the transition process as WQBB transitioned to an automated station. Despite Dave’s 38 year career in radio being divided amongst several stations, he has earned a great deal of experience. Dave also enlisted with the Knoxville Police Reserves in 1993, and he served until 1999.

 

Dave’s been with the Tennessee Media Center for the past 23 years, and still considers it a reward to work here. Currently, Dave produces the Bob Bell Show every morning from 6:00am – 8:00am on our sister station, WRJZ. You may also hear Dave in between shows in the afternoons, and overnight hours.

Carolyn Hamby

Bookkeeper

Having only worked for TN Media a few years, Carolyn Hamby still considers it to be her “dream job” because she has been a listener of one of our sister stations, WRJZ, for over 20 years. Carolyn is a part time bookkeeper for WOAY AM 860 along with our 3 other sister radio stations. She loves serving the Lord in this ministry.

 

 

Carolyn has 2 wonderful children and their awesome spouses along with 6 grandchildren. She also has a 50 pound fur baby named “Annie.”

 

Favorite Verse: “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Stacy Williams

Accounting

Stacy is a proud native Texan, born just a few miles from downtown Dallas. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a BBA in Finance and began her professional journey in banking, loan review, and credit analysis. After moving to Knoxville, she launched her own estate sale company, Pegasus Estate Sales, before eventually making her way to WETR—where she’s thrilled to be part of the team and back in the world of finance and operations.

 

Faith has always been an important part of Stacy’s life. She first came to understand salvation at age 11 and was baptized at 17. In a meaningful step of rededication, she was baptized again in the Tennessee River on September 10, 2023—an experience she describes as truly unforgettable.

 

Outside of work, Stacy loves teaching Bible study and singing soprano in her church choir. She also set a personal goal to read the entire Bible starting in 2021, and by the end of 2025, she will have completed the full journey four times. She says it gets sweeter every year!

Catelyn Luckey

Administrative Assistant​

Catelyn serves as a our administrative and production assistant at Magnolia Studios (located at the Tennessee Media center), and is considered a “jack of all trades” around here. Her warm smile welcomes visitors in as soon as they walk in the door! She also serves as an assistant to the Bob Bell Show where she helps ensure we always have awesome guests to feature on the show.

 

Catelyn enjoys working for Tennessee Media Associates because of the biblically sound environment and getting to work with and build relationships with people she considers to have great wealth of godly knowledge. She also looks forward to making guests smile and feel God/s love through whatever small actions she’s a part of at the station. 

 

Favorite Verse: “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Kevin Potter

Chief Engineer

Kevin serves as Chief Engineer for all of the Tennessee Media Center affiliated stations and organizations, to include WOAY 760 and all her sister stations: Joy 620, WETR Talk Radio 92.3, 90.1 The Bridge, and WOAY AM 860

Brooke Meyers

Web & Media Specialist | Owner of BAM Digital Creations

Brooke serves as a contractor for WOAY 760 and all her sister stations: Joy 620, WETR Talk Radio 92.3, 90.1 The Bridge, and WOAY AM 860. She came into the radio world early this year after she felt God calling her to step out on faith to leave her government career of 8 years where she spent the last several years serving as a Multimedia Specialist.

 

In her transition, she launched her own media company called BAM Digital Creations, and in that process, God connected her with Tennessee Media Associates to come serve as the Content Manager for our websites and social media platforms.

 

Favorite Verse: “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
